  • Dialogue

It’s our common aim to feed the conversation between contemporary design and people, elaborating on a coherent and systematic research. Design is wrongly perceived as elictory and aloof from everyday life. Through our practice we try to bridge this distance.

    Concept

Observation, relation, abstraction. This sums up the way we proceed developing a new project, layering complexity step by step. We often refer to the aesthetic of void, this is derived by our common background in architecture and our passion for eastern philosophy. It’s not about what there is now, but what is not yet here.

    Meaning

We love systems and patterns of meaning, developed from research and process. Design conveys meaning though the overall structure of: materials, industrialization, life cycle and usability; building the product, we do not trust ubiquitous trends and design currents, any choice stems purely from reasoning.

    Awerness

Extremely conscious of the historical moment, cultural background and environmental problems we face today, we proceed wary of these crucial social issues. Design necessarily relates with production and extraction of resources, we can not ignore the impact of our operations, so we think the starting point must be more conscientious.
